From the lakes of upstate New York to the helm of $55M superyachts, Tim’s career is backed by experience and defined by a relentless analyzation of the maritime industry. He is recognized for strategic negotiations and creative deal structures with integrity and genuine empathy. Tim holds a U.S. Coast Guard 200-ton Master and currently operates a 92ft Motor Yacht in Newport Beach. The Charter company was initially created in 2015 with only one boat to help an owner offset the costs of ownership and provide crew with an opportunity to earn freelance income. With a clear market gap for high-integrity representation, the charter program rapidly grew into a fleet. The company further expanded into a Yacht brokerage and crew placement resource in 2017. In the world of ultra-high-net-worth maritime assets, there is no substitute for "sea time.” Tim brings a distinct perspective to the brokerage industry—combining the grit of a boatyard upbringing with the precision required to manage over $100M in luxury yacht sales over the last decade.

When Tim is not negotiating on behalf of his clients or assisting with charter experiences, he is a dedicated father, grounding his life with family and community. An avid surfer, golfer, and fisherman, Tim doesn't just sell the yachting lifestyle—he lives it daily.

Jake is a licensed captain and yacht consultant currently running an 82ft Princess on the West Coast. As the founder of Set Sale Marine and creator behind the YouTube channel “JakeSea,” he combines hands-on vessel operation with modern marketing strategy to help buyers and sellers navigate the boating market with confidence. His work spans yacht management, brokerage consulting, charter operations, and marine product testing — with a unique edge in media production and digital growth. Known for blending operational leadership with storytelling and brand strategy, Jake brings both real-world command experience and modern exposure to every project.

Jake’s connection to boating started on the water and evolved into a career centered around helping others experience it the right way. He’s driven by the freedom, problem-solving, and adventure that boating demands — whether that’s running offshore, dialing in new electronics install, or bringing a neglected boat back to life. Outside of captaining and consulting, he produces boating content, tests marine gear, builds hands-on projects, and occasionally reprises his roll as a boat stuntman for Hollywood.

Morgan serves as the Marketing and Charter Agent for Newport Yachts Inc., blending digital storytelling with hands-on charter coordination. She oversees the company’s social media presence, brand positioning, and client communications while guiding guests through a seamless booking experience. With a strong background in content strategy and client service, Morgan brings a modern, detail-oriented approach to luxury yacht marketing.

Drawn to the yachting industry for its combination of hospitality, adventure, and lifestyle, Morgan is passionate about creating unforgettable experiences on the water. She thrives on connecting people to moments that feel both elevated and effortless. Her favorite days are spent offshore embracing the coastal lifestyle and outside of work she loves staying active, creating content, and enjoying quality time with family.

Kristen has been in the industry for almost a decade. She grew up lake boating in upstate New York where a passion for being on the water had sparked. I worked as a traveling homeschool teacher/ therapist in 2020 sailing to various countries and islands abroad. I fell in love with the idea of being a “yachtie” and immediately switched careers. I started with yacht maintenance and management, learning mechanics of various vessels. I then worked my way up to a Chief stewardess position on the water and later obtaining my sales license to become yacht consultant.

I love working alongside my crew to create a fun, welcoming, and unforgettable experience for everyone onboard. One of my favorite parts of being on the water is getting in it—whether that’s snorkeling with sea life, surfing the waves, or exploring new coastal spots. When I’m not at sea, you’ll find me in the mountains skiing, hiking or traveling to spend time with family.

As first mate my goal is to create seamless, safe, and memorable experiences on the water. From assisting with island trips and harbor cruises to ensuring families feel comfortable and cared for onboard, I take pride in delivering a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all guest.

Behind the scenes, I help to maintain each yacht to the highest standard through routine safety checks, system diagnostics, and mechanical services. I focus on reliability, presentation, and the small details that provide peace of mind to both owners and charter guests.

My passion for boating began early, growing up in a family of competitive sailors. Outside of work, you can find me surfing, sailing, and enjoying the beach with friends — I have a passion for the water and I enjoy creating that fun experience with others!

As a lifelong Southern California mariner and veteran Real Estate Broker, Scott offers a rare perspective to the Newport Yachts team. He understands that a yacht is both an emotional investment and a significant asset. From the technical nuances of power and sail boats to the fine print of a contract, Scott bridges the gap for first-time buyers and seasoned captains alike.

An expertise in both Power & Sail, Transaction Management, and Coastal Navigation. While off duty, you’ll find him exploring the Caribbean on his latest bareboat adventure.

Danette’s vast experience originates at The Ohio State University with a BSBA from Max M. Fisher College of Business. I’ve been part of a Team my entire life — starting with my family and continuing as a Softball Player at The Ohio State University. Athletics shaped my discipline, resilience, and commitment to shared goals, which I’ve carried into every business team I’ve been part of — and now into my amazing Yachting Team at Newport Yachts.

I grew up loving life on the water — swimming, boating, fishing, skiing, and paddleboarding — and as a competitive triathlete, the swim was always my favorite. When I’m not supporting my new Team, you’ll find me hiking or walking my Boxer, Taitusi.

I am an 8-year licensed 100-ton yacht captain, responsible for safely navigating private and charter vessels while managing all aspects of onboard operations. Career highlights include leading high-profile charters, overseeing vessel maintenance, and training crew to deliver exceptional service. I’m driven by my love for being on the water, whether I’m fishing, diving, or enjoying watersports. I chose this industry because it allows me to turn my passion into a career, sharing the joys of the ocean with others.

I am a career Captain with 15 Years experience. I started in 2011 at Catalina Express and continued working there for 10 years. During Covid I transitioned to the private sector full time doing Yacht Management, luxury charter experiences and now sales. While I worked for Catalina Express, I climbed the Hawspipe from deckhand to Captain. I currently hold a Master 500 Ton and my primary vessels of operations are a Custom 143' Suncoast named Aurora and a 108ft Monte Fino Named Marbella.

I love the ocean and everything it has to offer. This industry has become my passion, every day is an adventure. Being able to experience the ocean everyday and share it with people is like nothing else. I enjoy sunrises in quiet coves, snorkeling in Catalina, ripping up and down the coast on a jetski and amazing dinners at sunset. When I'm not on the water I enjoy spending time with my family, golf, exercising, hunting and off roading

With 29 years of experience in the Yachting industry, I have honed my skills as a Yacht Consultant and Captain, guiding clients through every aspect of yacht ownership. From acquisition and refit to operational management and on-water leadership, I offer practical insight to every vessel I oversee. My extensive time at sea includes commanding several vessels over 120 feet, with a proven track record of safe coastwise and long ocean passages across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. I am recognized for blending operational expertise with a consultative, client-first approach.

The ocean symbolizes both freedom and responsibility to me, and I chose this industry because I love being on the water. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active outdoors, and continuously expanding my maritime knowledge.

With over 10 years as a U.S. Coast Guard–licensed captain, I bring firsthand operational knowledge and industry insight to my work as a yacht broker and consultant. My time on the water provides a practical perspective that helps clients make informed decisions when buying, selling, captaining, or managing yachts. I take pride in offering a highly personalized and professional approach, ensuring every client receives knowledgeable guidance and exceptional service throughout their distinctive yachting journey.

Having a 200 ton USCG license, my knowledge and experience will help most perspective clients find the boat they need in SoCal.

While I thoroughly enjoy the aspects of pleasure boating and relaxing on anchor, some of my best times in the industry have been the high adrenaline rush of fishing. I started this industry on commercial fishing night boats, and have transformed it into extremely nice yachts over the years. The yachting industry in Newport has provided myself and my family a great living in Southern California, , and i plan to keep it up! Outside of work, I like to fish our local waters, and road trip with my family in my Sprinter van.

Matt has been a Mariner for over 18 years as an operator/Captain. He is currently the primary Captain for an 82ft Azimut and head Operations for the Newport Yachts & Hi39 Yacht Management fleet. Matt currently hold a 100 ton Merchant Mariner Credential, and has up to 800 tons of operator experience from his time serving in the military Mat is a former U.S. Navy contractor for the Pacific fleet and missile test range from 2008-2013 and a former Department of Defense combat Firefighter deployed to Iraq 2005-2008.

Matt believes this career chose him and has turned into a true passion He brings an unmatched work ethic and everyday and drives to deliver better results than the day before.

The fun I have ever had on the water most is what I miss the most on the water, chasing down warships for training. You can catch me in my off time with the family cruising the land yacht, surfing, or golfing.

With nearly three decades of experience in the yachting industry, Jerry brings a depth of knowledge, professionalism, exceptional customer service, and a passion to match. A top performing broker during the early 2000’s with selling Carver Yachts, he continued to excel over the last 10 years, becoming an award-winning transactional expert with prestigious Ocean Alexander motor yachts. Jerry is best known for his personable client-first approach with a reputation built on being resourceful, trustworthy and maintaining integrity. A dedicated family man and father of two, Jerry balances his illustrious career with weekends on the water operating large boats for his clients, and mentoring his son with seamanship as his first mate.
